Blog > So, why Stevia?

October 2nd, 2018

Unlike some daily multivitamin drinks that can contain sugar or artificial sweeteners, Oxylent is sweetened with pure and natural stevia only, a natural sweetener that is an ideal alternative to both sugar and artificial sweeteners.

Native to South America, where it has been consumed for centuries, stevia is made from the leaves of the Stevia Rebaudiana plant. With a Glycemic Index of zero, stevia is carbohydrate-free and therefore does not affect blood sugar, and so is suitable for use as a natural sweetener that is safe for diabetics.
This natural sweetener also supports healthy blood pressure, healthy fluid balance, and healthy immune and inflammatory responses. It also inhibits the growth of bacteria linked to tooth and gum health issues, and supports dental health!
